ONLINE STORE TERMS

  1. Our website offers a range of products and or services for sale. Where we refer to an 'item' we are referring to a single product or service available for purchase on this website.
  2. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that the details displayed for a particular item offered for sale are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system.
  3. Whilst care is taken to ensure that we display as accurately as possible appearances, colours, textures or finishes, what you will see on your computer monitor or equipment may differ, and so we cannot guarantee that images are an accurate representation of the actual goods or services that you are purchasing. Packaging of products may vary depending on supplier used. Colour and or style is subject to current stock holding.

 

  1. Once an order has been submitted, we are unable to make any changes to your order, add items or amend shipping.

 

  1. We may not be able to accept your order due to one or more of the following reasons, or for a reason not listed below:
    1. The item you have ordered is out of stock
    2. We cannot authorise your payment or have reasonable grounds to suspect your payment may be fraudulent
  • There has been a pricing or product description error
  1. There is a system or procurement failure
  2. You have failed our customer validation checks

 

  1. When you place an order, you should receive an email confirming the details of your order. This email is not confirmation that your order has been accepted by us.

 

  1. Your order will only be accepted by us once your goods have been dispatched.

MODIFICATIONS TO OUR SERVICE AND PRICING

  1. Prices for items are subject to change without notice.
  2. We reserve the right to, at any time, modify or discontinue any part of the service that we offer, or any part of content thereof, without any notice to you.
  3. We accept no liability to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of the service.

DELIVERY & RETURNS

  1. During checkout, you may be presented with one or more options for delivery. Where an estimated timescale for delivery is provided, this is an estimate only, and your items may be delayed in being received due to circumstances beyond our control (such as a courier delay, or at busy times).
  2. Where you select a "next day delivery" option, orders placed on Fridays after 3pm, Saturdays or Sundays will not be despatched for delivery until the following Monday and so may not be received until Tuesday.
  3. Please note that ‘next day delivery’ is also not a guaranteed service due to circumstances beyond our control (such as courier delays, in adverse weather or at busy times).
  4. No claims for non-delivery of your complete order will be allowed unless the company is advised within 21 days from the order date for UK Customers or 35 days from the order date for Overseas Customers.
  1. Orders for delivery to apartment/flats buildings may be delivered to a reception or the concierge. We will not take any responsibility for orders sent to addresses of this nature once they have been delivered by the courier.
  1. If a customer makes an error in placing an order, which causes incorrect or duplicate shipments, The Vanilla Valley may allow, at its absolute discretion, return of the excess merchandise with a 35% handling charge.  This will be adjusted by means of a partial refund once the undamaged goods have been received.  The customer must pay all return delivery charges; The Vanilla Valley will not arrange collection.
  2. Details of discrepancies, damaged and/or faulty items must be reported along with photographic evidence to our customer services department within 48 hours of receipt and returned to The Vanilla Valley within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.
  3. We will not accept returns of edible items, food or food contact items under any circumstances.

ORDER CANCELLATION

  1. If you wish to cancel an order you have placed, you must contact us immediately to ascertain whether the order has already been processed.
  2. Where they have been processed and dispatched, you will need to return the items to us, and you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the items.
  3. Where the order has not been processed prior to a cancellation request, our refund policy will apply.
  4. Where you have ordered a personalised, perishable or time critical item (such as food, custom topper or bespoke item) you may not be able to cancel for a full refund.

 

LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

  1. We shall not be liable for any direct, special, indirect or consequential or incidental damages including loss of profit or loss of opportunity as a result of the use of or the inability to use any items that have been ordered on this website.
  2. You agree to indemnify us and our agents, officers, directors and employees, immediately and on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of any of our terms and conditions.

JURISDICTION

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with UK Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

  1. These terms and conditions combined with our published Privacy Policy (also available through this website) and Refund Policy (also available through this website) constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and us whether written or oral.

GENERAL

  1. Should any part-term or term be found to be unenforceable then the remainder of the terms and conditions shall continue to have full force and effect as if the invalidated term was not present.
  2. Should any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions arise where it is beyond our reasonable control, we will not be responsible to you for such delay or failure nor liable for any loss that you incur, howsoever caused.

Multi Buy Discount Offers

Our multi buy discount offers may exclude product lines or types from the brand being discounted. They are subject to change and may have a maximum purchase quantity per customer. Multi buy discount offers are priced in Pounds Sterling however there are alternative Euro multi buy discounts for those in regions ineligible for these offers, these may not covert into the exact same price. We reserve the right to alter, change or remove these deals at any point.

Discount Codes on The Vanilla Valley

We occasionally offer discount codes which can be used on purchases made via our website.  All codes include time limits as well as limits on the number of usages per customer which cannot be exceeded. Most discount codes will not be applicable on bulk buy items, such as cake board/boxes multi-packs and large boxes of icing/covering paste as these items are already heavily discounted. It is entirely at the discretion of the company to decide which items are eligible for discount and we reserve the right to change or alter this at any point. Discount codes must be added at the checkout and cannot be implemented retroactively. Unless stated otherwise all exlusive email discount codes are 1 use per customer.

Account Specials

Account Specials prices are only available to our customers with Busy Baker or Star Baker club level accounts. It is your responsibility to insure you are logged in to buy the products at the best price available to you. Variant products within this section may only have one of their options on special offer. These prices are subject to change, and we reserve the right to alter or remove these discounts at any point. There may be a limit on the number of certain products you can purchase in this category.
