The cake drum is the strongest and most popular type of disposable cake board. It has a bonded fibre board inner which is covered on the top and sides with a fern textured, silver coloured foil and has a white paper on the base. The finished cake board is 0.5'' (12mm) thick and we supply them as a single board or a pack of 5 to help save you money. 12 inch cake drums are the most popular size and are ideal for all sorts of individual or tiered cake designs. They are easy to cover with sugarpaste and ribbon if desired.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our cake boards are traditionally hand finished so please allow a certain amount of variation in accurate size and finish - small folds, creases, scratches, bends and dents are features occasionally found in the hand-finished product and are not considered faults.
