Raspberry is especially effective for berry-inspired cakes, floral decorations and celebration bakes where the colour needs to feel bold but still pretty. It can also bring warmth to white icing, add contrast to pale fondant, or create a striking finish for dessert-table treats.

Why Choose Raspberry Instead of Pink or Red?

Pink can be soft and playful, while red can feel strong and dramatic. Raspberry gives you something in between: a deeper pink with a ripe berry feel. This makes it useful for designs that need a richer, more mouth-watering colour, from fruity cupcakes to romantic cake details and modern floral themes.

Because ProGel is highly concentrated, only a small amount is needed to start building colour. Add it gradually and mix thoroughly before deciding whether to deepen the shade. This helps protect the texture of buttercream, fondant, sugarpaste, royal icing, modelling paste and cake batter.

Clean, Controlled Colouring

Each ProGel comes in a colour-coordinated squeeze tube, making it easy to identify in your decorating kit and helping reduce mess compared with open pots. The tube format also makes it simple to add colour in small, controlled amounts.

For fondant or modelling paste, knead until the shade is smooth and even. For buttercream or frosting, mix well and allow the colour to settle before making final adjustments.

Recommended dosage: 3g of colour per 1kg of decoration, maximum 4g. Maximum 1.5g of colour per 1kg of cake.
