Here at Vanilla Valley HQ we are always ready to celebrate Wales as its where we are based. Whether it’s St. David’s Day or to celebrate the rugby here’s some ideas for some Welsh treats!
Welsh Cakes / Picau ar y Maen
A simple but delicious Welsh classic made of ingredients mostly found around the house. However, to cook them you will need a baking stone.

Bara Brith
This rich fruit loaf flavoured with tea is usually served with butter and is the perfect treat the warm you up in the drizzly Welsh weather. Check out our loaf tins to bake one in.
