Squires Ready-tempered Isomalt is a sugar-free alternative that is ideal for making decorative biscuit centres, pulled sugar work and moulded decorations. Can be used to create a decorative biscuit centre, a lovely wedding favour idea. This clear colour can be coloured with gel pastes to give you more flexibility with colour schemes.
We just love to use isomalt to make gems from silicone moulds for cake borders and cupcake tops. Try dusting inside your moulds with edible Snowflake lustre dust by Sugarflair before you pipe in your isomalt to give your finished gems a gorgeous shimmer effect. Use a parchment triangle to give you better control on transferring your melted isomalt into your mould. Also using parchment triangles gives you the ability to pipe isomalt droplets, perfect for then using on quilted cake borders.

How to Use:
1. Place desired amount of isomalt into a microwaveable container and place in a microwave
2. Melt in 30-second increments until the isomalt becomes fluid
3. Carefully remove the isomalt from the microwave using ovenproof gloves
4. The isomalt will be extremely hot
5. Stir and wait for the bubbling to stop then slowly pour into the desired container or mould
6. Alternatively you can pour onto a heatproof flat surface and work it with kitchen utensils or, once cool enough, your hands
7. This product reaches high temperatures, meaning that is not suitable for children to use.
